Deposits

Bookings WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED unless accompanied with a 25% deposit which must be made to Market Square Group within a maximum of 3 days from receipt of invoice. In certain cases, and for some events, we may require a higher deposit payment.

Balance of Payments

The balance of payment for events must be made 30 days prior to the first advertised day of each event. The balance due date will be noted on your invoice. Balance for Christmas 'long stay' Markets are due 8 weeks prior to the start date.

New for 2025, we take up residence at East Kent's best known event space, the historic and scenic Quex Park, 10 minutes walk from Birchington and 2 minutes drive from the A28.

The Isle of Thanet Food and Drink Festival brings a great selection of local, national and international stalls. The quality of the shopping experience is complimented by a range of entertainments for the whole family including live music, and alfresco dining with mouth-watering street foods washed down with libations from the famous last stand's - bars of distinction

The Food & Drink Festival will be free to enter for visiting public, with the additional offer of ticketed components -
What Ales You? beer and cider festival - The bar will be stocked with a fine selection of craft beer, ale and cider including those from local breweries.

Interesting Facts About The Venue

During the First World War, Quex House became an Auxiliary Military Hospital run by the Birchington Voluntary Aid Detachment. In 1923, the Memorial Ground was donated to the village by Mr H. A. Erlebach for sport and recreational use.
