Deposits

Bookings WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED unless accompanied with a 25% deposit which must be made to Market Square Group within a maximum of 3 days from receipt of invoice. In certain cases, and for some events, we may require a higher deposit payment.

Balance of Payments

The balance of payment for events must be made 30 days prior to the first advertised day of each event. The balance due date will be noted on your invoice. Balance for Christmas 'long stay' Markets are due 8 weeks prior to the start date.

The historic heart of Bury St Edmunds will be transformed when our festive-themed World Village Market takes centre stage at the town's annual Christmas Fayre.

Our colourful and exciting market will be located in a prime position on Angel Hill from Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th November.

Shoppers can expect the very best local and international produce, handcrafted, artisan-made crafts, clothing and jewellery from all corners of the globe alongside hot and cold culinary delights.

Market Square Group is proud to be playing a key role as the guest market at this hugely popular event.

Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre is now in its thirteenth year and has spread throughout the town- from Abbey Gardens in the south to the Arc Shopping Centre in the north.

The festivities will also feature traditional fairground rides, live entertainment and street entertainers.

Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre offers one of the best trading opportunities over 4 days of any event in the country. The World Village Market is placed in the thick of the action on Angel Hill, directly in front of the historic Abbey Gardens entrance.

To celebrate our 9th consecutive year as event partners, Market Square Group is offering a special 50% discount for 4 business to take a pitch at The Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre. The offer is for 3x3m craft/grocery food pitches only and the following criteria must be met:
• Product Or Produce must be artisan in nature – either homemade or handmade from ingredients and or materials that are homegrown or sourced directly
• Business must be sole proprietor or family run with a maximum of 3 employees
• Vendor at the Fayre must be directly involved with the production of the product or produce on sale
• Business must not have traded the Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre in previous years

The World Village Christmas Market has been part of the Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre for several years and attracts a fantastic variety of stalls offering a range of Christmas gift ideas, stocking fillers, grocery foods for hamper collections, hot foods, mulled wine and spiced cider. Find us on Angel Hill in front of the Abbey Gardens.

The Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre is one of the top destinations for shoppers in the UK with visitors travelling from far and wide to experience this special event. Interesting Facts About The Venue

Bury St Edmunds is a market town in Suffolk, England. Bury St Edmunds Abbey is near the town centre. Bury is the seat of the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, with the episcopal seat at St Edmundsbury Cathedral.

The town, originally called Beodericsworth, was built on a grid pattern by Abbot Baldwin around 1080. It is known for brewing and malting (Greene King brewery) and for a British Sugar processing factory, where Silver Spoon sugar is produced. The town is the cultural and retail centre for West Suffolk and tourism is a major part of the economy.
