Food lovers across Kent are invited to satisfy their appetite at one of Market Square Group’s festivals in the county this summer.

Market Square Group events have become a popular fixture in the county’s what’s on calendar and 2017 is no exception.

Already this year there have been food and drink festivals in Sevenoaks and Tenterden and the momentum continues over the next three months.

Next up is Maidstone’s Summer Food and Drink Festival from Friday June 2 to Sunday June 4.

The festival, located in the beautiful setting of Mote Park, promises a fantastic selection of foods, mouth-watering street dining with a selection of craft beers and ciders on offer to wash it all down.

This will be Market Square Group’s inaugural event in the town and a tantalising array of traders and food producers have already signed up.

These include gourmet toasties from East Fresh Catering, venison burgers from Godmersham Game, traditional Kent hog roast from Blue Eye Catering and Kentish craft ciders from Turners Cider.

Start the school summer holidays in style at the Hythe Food and Drink Festival from Friday July 21 to Sunday July 23. The debut event last July was a great success with thousands of visitors making their way to the Hythe canal by Holman's Field to sample the culinary treats and thirst quenching drinks on offer.

Traders booked for Hythe include Oliver’s Bakery, The Street Pig, Just Greek, Monami, Caribbean Hut and Hebridean Spirits and Liqueurs.

Rounding off the summer trio is the Deal Food and Drink Festival from September 8 to September 10.

The view of Deal Castle will certainly help to create a memorable experience which together with a programme of live music, fantastic food and craft beer bar all adding up to a very tasty offer.

Paul Kennedy, Director of Market Square Group, said: “One of our favourite regions in the UK to visit is the county of Kent so to make these three visits, including to two new areas for us, is something we have been greatly looking forward to.”
