Inaugural Cambridge Craft Beer and Cider Festival takes place in September

Tickets are now on sale for the first ever Cambridge Craft Beer and Cider Festival.

The event is being held at Cambridge Leisure Park, Clifton Road, Cambridge, from Friday 23 September to Friday 25 September 2016.

There will be five sessions taking place over three days with the best of British local, regional, national and international ales, craft lagers and ciders to sample.

Breweries will include Cassells Cider, Lord Conrad's, Turpin's, Cambridge Cider, Evershed Drinks and Moonshine Brewery.

As well as an impressive collection of beers and ciders, the event will include meet the brewers sampling sessions, street food and farmer’s market stalls, a live music stage and a separate family friendly area.

The event is ticketed with advance tickets for a session costing £3.50.

Session times are Friday from 5pm to 10pm, Saturday from 11am to 4pm and 5pm to 10pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 4pm and 5pm to 9pm.

Market Square Group Director Paul Kennedy said: “Cambridge has really caught on to the growing popularity of craft beer in the UK and a number of breweries are now creating some really excellent drops.

“The Cambridge Craft Beer and Cider Festival will celebrate this and offer some scrumptious British ciders too.

“There is a limited number of tickets available per session so please book in advance to avoid disappointment. Session entry will be £5 on the door.”
