Market Square Group in July 2016

We received some kind feedback from our inaugural Stamford Food and Drink Festival.

Surrounded by the lush greenery of Stamford’s Meadows, we managed to avoid the worst of the June rain and were appreciative of steady footfall creating a lively atmosphere throughout the weekend.

One of the traders, The Bytham Kitchen, wrote afterwards: “I sold out of many of my lines and had to restock three times! Great to get support for local artisan producers, and I really appreciated the gazebo being pre-erected for me. Saved so much time and space. Please put me at the front of the queue for next year and local producers of food, get your names in quickly.”

We are happy to have laid the foundations in our first year and hope to return with a greater offer in 2017.

If you are a local producer or trader do get in touch with us so we can keep you up to date as plans progress - office@marketsquaregroup.com

Stamford is also the location of the first of our two major events for July.

Tickets for the Stamford Music Festival, from Friday July 15 to Sunday July 17, are on sale from the Click-it Tickets website. We have a fantastic mix of band and artists playing over the weekend, including Little Mammoths, The Howard Rose Band, The Gangsters and The One Eyed Cats.

Tickets will cost slightly more on the entry gate, so we recommend in advance to save a bit of cash.

Following this, we have the Hythe Food and Drink Festival. The Royal Military canal is one of Kent’s most famous landmark’s and runs through the heart of Hythe providing an idyllic waterside destination. This provides the venue for Hythe’s first food and drink festival that will be staged along its banks this July for three days from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th.

We can also announce the new date for the Cambridge Craft Beer and Cider Festival. There will be five sessions over the three days from September 23 to 25 2016 with the best of local, regional, national and international ales, craft lagers and ciders. Traders please do get in touch now. Customer tickets for the sessions from here.

We always welcome new traders and new opportunities, so if you are interested in finding out more please get in touch via Facebook, Twitter or email events@marketsquaregroup.com
